The sheer nastiness that would result from these two knock-down drag-out campaigns would be amazing.
Not only would it be entertaining, it could mean success for the GOP in this election.
I have mixed feelings about that. One is that you’re correct. Get the dems to knock each other out for the general election. But I worry that as American politics gets nastier and nastier and people get more tired of it with every election, it simplys paves the way for non-democratic alternatives.
This episode will be a 60-second ad in the October period for the Republicans...when you can’t get enough votes...just revote...and revote....and revote....and revote. I can see this ad basically making a joke out of Hillary and the democrats.
