NEW YORK Even in the afterglow of a truly super Tuesday, the chief HIllary Clinton backers today have not outlined a plausible scenario for how she actually overcomes the Obama lead and gets enough delegates to win -- except that two of them, Terry McAuliffe and Gov. Ed Rendell, are now introducing the possibility of a re-vote in Michigan and Florida.

Florida is now discussing shelling out the money to do the vote, and if that happens, Michigan will likely follow........

Ed Rendell needs to stop eating cheesesteaks or he will miss seeing his party lose in the November Presidential election .

The perfect outcome is if somehow the Dem nomination battle ends up in the Supreme Court..

C'mon; don't tease us. That would be too good to be true. No, correction; that would be a dream come true.

Exactly...that's why Limbaugh was a total idiot with his crossover primary vote thingie.

Rush is not an idiot, he wants Hitlery elected, he will make millions more if she is President, he does not give a %&64#% about Republican Party or US he is in for the BIG BUCKS.

I stopped listening to this jerk years ago.

Texas Caucus Count Takes Wind Out of Clinton’s Wins.

"Clinton only reduced Obama’s delegates lead by 12 following Tuesday’s voting"

Michigan will likely follow...

If I were Obama, I would want to have a revote in Michigan. Wayne County alone (A.K.A., Detroit) would throw the primary to Obama. Detroit alone would overcome the union vote that would break for Hillary.

In this enclave of Conservatives, Rush’s scheme makes perfect sense. But most of America pays little attention to politics and most will vote based upon popular perceptions, i.e., Bush bad (and by extension, McCain) - Democrats good.

Last night I was at a friend’s house and we were watching the returns. The ladies in the house were totally oblivious to the political drama unfolding. And then at 8:00 the ladies (both of whom are Hillary fans) insisted on turning the channel to American Idol. They represent the vast majority of voters in this nation.

I believe there is a better than even chance that the next president will be a Democrat and Her Royal C is the last person I want to see in the White House.

Obama ticket....I don't see it happening. Clinton won't want to share the spotlight.

I believe Hillary will do whatever she has to do to get elected, even if it means picking Obama as her running mate.

There is no way the public put them there or we would have a conservative amongst them.

Furthermore, all we’re going to hear from now until the Democratic Convention is Hillary, Obama. Obama, Hillary. By the time November rolls around, McCain will be someone from the past.

And if I hear “pass the freaking popcorn” one more time, I’m gonna scream!

I struggle in the Belly of the Beast - the San Francisco bay area.

While you are still in the Belly of the Beast, we will just pop more popcorn

GWB in 2004 won handily with a couple of million votes. John McCain can easily do the same against the prospect of a woman CIC vs. a first black President!!!

Ther’s no reason for the Witch to want a re-vote in those states; she’ll lose most of the advantage she has by doing some skullduggery to get the present ballots counted.

I’m going to disagree with you on that.
I’m on record here as calling the nomination for Hillary, and for McCain to lose 30 - 34 states.

Obama will be a bit less formidable, his taking only 39 - 31 states.

Either way McCain is going to be steamrollered and we need to support every conservative in the House and Senate as best as we can, and do that right quick.

McCain isn’t going to be the next president.

Ed Rendell needs to spend more time on those property tax cuts and less on Floridas business.

No! Let him worry about Florida. Every time he does something for Pennsylvania, it costs me through the nose --- even his imaginary tax cuts that somehow always end up being tax increases.

She cannot win the national...

Not can she win it, she can roll away with it.
For pity’s sake, Kerry came within one state of beating a well supported incumbent who ran in the primary unopposed, who raised huge amounts of money, and who was running during a period of both open warfare and unparalleled prosperity.

The degree to which many FReepers are stuck in the Matrix is what is truly astonishing.
Have you seen the dramatic drop in contributions to the RNC and the GOP?

The most that we can hope for, barring a miracle, is to stop massive losses in the House and Senate.

McCain is truly the Manchurian candidate, set up for a huge loss.
