NEW YORK Even in the afterglow of a truly super Tuesday, the chief HIllary Clinton backers today have not outlined a plausible scenario for how she actually overcomes the Obama lead and gets enough delegates to win -- except that two of them, Terry McAuliffe and Gov. Ed Rendell, are now introducing the possibility of a re-vote in Michigan and Florida.

Florida is now discussing shelling out the money to do the vote, and if that happens, Michigan will likely follow........

Neither one of these idiots can beat McCain provided McCain doesn’t go senile or die prior to November so the longer they beat on each other the better for the ‘Republicans”. Rush’s directive didn’t do anything to harm us.

And you think people will vote for Hillary after she obviously steals the election from a black man? Really?

If she puts him on the ticket as her VP, they'll fall in line back on the plantation.

Umm....they are stupid enough to vote for her after she race baits and changes the rules. So why not?

a re-vote in Michigan

That should be interesting. Since Michigan allows the crossing over of party lines does that mean that I get to vote again? This time for a democrat?

If not then do I get to make the claim that I was disenfranchised?

They would vote for a child killer if it meant voting vs. the GOP which will again by November be being touted as the party which is oppressing the poor.

I agree. When the Primary is tacked on to normal election cycles I don’t have a problem with taxpayer payment for costs. When the election is at the sole behest of a non-Gov’t entity (Which Political Parties are) then it is up to them to foot the bill - Especially in this particular instance where it was so botched.

Florida was deprived of half of its Republican delegates so how can Crist allow the Democrats a do over unless the Republicans get one too?

Keep re-counting the votes until you get your desired numbers ... keep re-voting until you get your desired numbers.

Just more flagrant disrespect and refusal to accept the Constitution and the men that bled and died for Independence, Sovereignty and Freedom.

Because of our San Francisco, God must apologize to Sodom and Gamorrah ... and because WE are allowing this travesty to the election process .. WE owe Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Monroe, etc. ... OUR apologies.

When it's all said and done ... THEY talked then fought ... we talk, and walk.

Forgive us, Lord.

All of the Democrats who crossed over in Floriduh and Michiganistan will not be able to vote in the second Democrat Primary.

Frankly I don’t believe that the Democrats who voted in the first Democrat primary in those states should be able to vote again EITHER. It isn’t a runoff.

Thanks, Rush!

We’d all better get used to saying “Madame President”.

IF Republicans were responsible for pushing Hillary over the top in Texas, and IF it was due to the urgings of Rush Limbaugh, then we have Rush to thank for another four to eight years of the Clintons.

It annoys me to hear people proclaim so confidently that what happened in Texas was the best thing that could have happened and that McCain will win the election. This “fractured” Democratic party thing is a myth. Most Americans are clueless when it comes to politics and wouldn’t know a “fractured party” from the backside of a bus.

All most Democrats know is that the Republicans are evil and that they are going to come out en masse to put a Democrat back in the White House, be it Hillary, or Barack, or Woody Allen.

Republicans who were too smart by half could very well have put Hillary in the White House. The reality is that most Americans will view John McCain as old and uninspiring, and Her Royal C as a rock star.

Furthermore, all we’re going to hear from now until the Democratic Convention is Hillary, Obama. Obama, Hillary. By the time November rolls around, McCain will be someone from the past.

And if I hear “pass the freaking popcorn” one more time, I’m gonna scream!

I don’t think Hillary has a good chance in the general election under those conditions — but you’re quite correct that Limbaugh was an idiot to help her stay in contention. Putting a stake in the heart of the Hildabeest’s career for the good of the nation should have been a higher priority than partisan (or, in Limbaugh’s case, ratings) gamesmanship.

Hillary does not seem to understand the concept that sometimes even if you win you lose. If the only way to win is to demonstrate to the world what a witch she is, it really will not help her in the end.

I am reminded of a line in “Oh Brother Where Art Thou”:

“Is you is, or is you aint my constit’ency?”

And she looks just as silly as he did.

As if Hillary wasn’t going to get the VP nomination on an Obama ticket and Hillary wouldn’t rise to power one way or another.

I voted for Alan Keyes in Texas by the way.

Bingo! This should be nominated best post of the year so far :^)

***Now, this should outrage everyone. We have 3 candidates that no one wants and if it had been up to the public; none of them would ever be where they are. And they are talking about spending more of your money to elect them.

How stupid can you get?***

The public is tired of the Oligarchy. And the unconstitutional nature of this two term co-president returning to the White House.

You guys are too paranoid. Half the country HATES Hillary. She can not win a general election. The longer she makes a mockery of the Dim primary process the better it is for Republicans.

I have mixed feelings about that. One is that you’re correct. Get the dems to knock each other out for the general election. But I worry that as American politics gets nastier and nastier and people get more tired of it with every election, it simplys paves the way for non-democratic alternatives.
