You guys are nuts. If Rush had true big swaying power Mitt would be our nominee and I would be happy.

You can blame Rush for the universe being but it is NOT Rush’s doing.

People blow my mind and probably Rush’s also. Goodness what he accomplish if he had the power you think he does.

You believe "CNN exit polls"?

Do you have evidence to the contrary?

Didn't think so.

More than I believe the ravers here on FR blaming Rush and each other. Hillary was always ahead in Texas. It was hers to lose and she almost did. So much for Rush and crossover Republicans throwing the vote to her. The idea is ludicrous.

. . . the phenomenon (Republicans voting for Sen Clinton to gain the system) is real and I think material to the results . . .

Anyone who believes there is anything phenomenonal about Republicans voting in the Democratic primary doesn't know much about Texas.

Some folks I know never vote in a Republican primary. They always try to game the Democratic primary. Then come the general election they pull the Republican lever.

You know, you are right. From a very cynical level, that is what he did yesterday. He clouded her victory with doubt as to how much of it was done by malicious republicans.

The dem candidate will win in November. No doubt about it. It’s over. What conservative could vote for someone who will stab you in the back as soon as he’s elected? Not me. McCain would be a horrible, horrible president. Worse than Hillary, that’s for sure!

Thanks for sharing Karl's insight...I missed it (busy with Idol last night). If anyone has a minute, turn on the Obamamercial on Fox all morning with the Ohio college students. They are all swooning for their boy Obama. We do not want to run against this empty, yet untouchable, suit.

As for blaming Rush, I wish everyone would knock it off. Did Rush drive you all to the polls and make you pull the lever? Are Rush listeners really mind-numbed robots like the Drive-Bys proclaim? Has anyone bothered to listen to Rush's logic behind this strategery? If you had, you would know that Rush does not want Clinton Inc. back into the White House.

Way too much enmity between the two of them for any pairing to occur. If it did happen, it would be the biggest political axe-burying in the past century.

Incorrect because Barrack can be forced to take the vice presidency to unify the party
Democrats will tell him he must do it or we lose black voters plus you are a young man who has plenty of time to be president. In fact you are next in line because you will be VP

But Hillary being older than Barrack and kicking around politics a lot longer would not run as Barrack's VP. Too humiliating plus no upward lift to the ticket.

But a Barrack VP would lift up a Hillary ticket. Imagine him out campaigning!

And Obama could very well be worse than either of them.

With the Clintons, the country was basically on auto pilot and did just fine! Come to think of it...under Bush all we have done is SPEND, SPEND AND SPEND! Maybe we don’t really need a president.

“Karl Rove was on yesterday and he has compiled polls from across USA and said McCain would beat Hillary.”

We started the Bush Presidency controlling the House and Senate. As we sit here today, we have lost both, and face a probable RAT Presidency. I don’t think Rove has much credibility.

Ha! Karl just pointed out that she said—well, NO Republican is going to vote for me.

Well it was just plain obvious she despises RUSH with every fiber of her being.

Rush is an a-hole. He doesn't know the delegate math. I think he has served his usefulness and now time to take a bow. OUT. He is making me sick.

Check it out. http://www.newsweek.com/id/118240/page/1

“”Rush knows that should Clinton win her nomination, she is the weakest of the two Dems that will face McCain in November.

Haven’t you paid attention to the exit polling data? In EVERY race, the second largest group that is bailing out on Clinton is the white male vote (second only to the blacks), who will overwhelmingly vote Republican only to deny Clinton the power she so desires.

Rush knows what he’s doing.””

Bullsh_ _!!! Last night, Karl Rove discussed 3 scenarios where the democrats nomination goes to the convention and in two of the scenarios the nominee emerges stronger than if the nomination was decided early. Only in one scenario was the nominee weakened by the process.

1. The convention is so acrimonious that the nominee is weakened by the situation. thats the scenario we want.

2. The convention fight leads to resolution of long standing issues and a feeling of unification that helps the nomiee as well as the party.

3. The buildup to the convention and the newsworthiness of the convention push MaCain and the Republicans to page B22 of the newspapers and leaves McCain unable to gain traction in the general election until the Republican convention in Sept.

Rush is not only dangerously wrong...he’s an idiot.

Both political parties are foolish for allowing people to switch affiliation on the day of the primary and vote. Unless you are registered well in advance as a party member, you should not be allowed to vote in that party’s primary/caucus.

That said, the rules are what they are, and had I been voting yesterday, I would have crossed over and voted to keep the dims at each other’s throats.

Poor Rush doesn’t realize that she is the queen of sleaze, and will outfox his sly ploy. When you see a snake, chop it’s head off, don’t ask it what it would like to eat, and where it wants to sleep.............

The point of Rush's ploy was that Hillary was the only one on the political stage that would lay a political glove on Obama. The media has treated him like the second coming and lord McCain's own democrat campaign guy said he would quit lord McCain's campaign if lord McCain went negative on Obama.
