I got a poll call around 6PM. Would I vote to re-elect my dem Congressman (I’m in a heavy GOP district - Foley’s). NO. If he endorse Obama would you. NO. Does it matter that Obama would give workers healthcare. NO.

Back in the day, I worked on the upper staff of one of his opponents in his first race.
Mark had a great organization, heavy backing from the state GOP, and all of us knew Mark was as gay as a jaybird.
We were not permitted - by the stern order of the state GOP - to mention the fact that Mark was a homo.
I said then, that someday that little problem would come back to bite us right on the ass...
