I had a democrat, very liberal, co-worker that pulled me aside today at the office. She was frantic, asking me what this country would do if God forbid Obama won. She was beside herself. I asked her if Obama was the Democratic nominee who she would vote for. She said she would cross party lines and vote for McCain.

I told her not to worry. That many others would be doing the same thing and that Obama will not win the general election.

By the way, I know other democrats that are saying the same thing. I think it will be an easier win against Obama.

Oh there is no doubt Obama will be easier to beat in the general.

I’ve long been confident (probably without justification) that if Obama is the nominee a lot of people would see reality before November and he would get thoroughly trounced. Once his total lack of any record of accomplishment (plus his far-left tendencies on what little record there is) really sink in, I doubt he’ll get above the low 40s in a national election. Obamamania won’t sustain him all the way to November, I hope....
