Yeah. He may need on of those colonoscopy drinks, you know the ones I am talking about?

ANd it wouldn’t hurt to get his wife to use some brillo on him too.

But penicillin for sure.

I disagree. The conventional wisdom is that prolonged intraparty fights are good for the other side.

Plus, can anyone doubt that the 3 a.m. telephone commercial is a commercial for McCain?

I am in the market for a new poltical party.

Like a housewife looking for a new brand of laundry detergent, right?

No, I'd say more like a battered wife finally ditching her abusive husband and looking for a HEALTHY relationship.

The Numbers on Drudge and Politico are only the Early Votes. The filthy beast appears to have won today's votes 50%-48% according to Exit Polls.

HOWEVER, if the Exit Polls didn't include early votes, there is likely enough for Obama to hang onto a slim win.

Either way, it's moot. Obama will end up with More delegates out of Texas thanks to the Caucus and the way the delegates are awarded in the primary.

The banshee needed BIG wins in Ohio and Texas to have a shot.

She didn't do it. She's done.

We are finally FREE AT LAST!!!!!!!!!

If like me, you live in a bluest of sick and perverted blue states (MA) you can freely not vote for McCain and vote R. downticket. It relieves my conscience and satisfies my need to stick to my Conservative Credentials.
Mc Queeg is a disaster, but if I thought my vote would actually count, I’d probably vote for the chameleon.

Yup, I thought McCain looked so completely gone last summer (as did everyone). Did anyone in the punditocracy still give him a real chance after his campaign melted down?

I can’t say I’ve been happy about anything in our national politics in months - never really had a candidate I thought could both win and do what is needed. Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson were good for the best ideas but I never saw them getting off the ground and they didn’t. Romney I would have supported but without enthusiasm, McCain even less.... though I will never want the far leftists like Obama or Shrillary to get in just to pave the way for something else down the road - too much at stake every year now.

I hope that somehow John McCain comes through with a great VP pick and a real commitment to serving at least some more conservative ideals better than he has in the past 10 years, but that’s probably just a pipe dream.

Hi nieghbor!
Back in the day, I worked on the upper staff of one of his opponents in his first race.

Mark had a great organization, heavy backing from the state GOP, and all of us knew Mark was as gay as a jaybird.
We were not permitted - by the stern order of the state GOP - to mention the fact that Mark was a homo.

I said then, that someday that little problem would come back to bite us right on the ass...

There’s one of my predictions come home to roost. They have the leverage with an Ohio and Tx win...and it will put her in the lead for Delegates.

How so? Obama leads by more than 150 in pledged delegates. Hillary will be lucky to pick up 5 to 10 delegates tonight after the four states are in the books. She won't be leading in delegates after tonight and it is quite conceivable that Obama could wind up with more delegates from Texas than Hillary given the way the delegates are parceled out.

It is very doubful the Dems will commit political suicide by overturning the results at the ballot box and the people's choice by making Hillary the nominee. Unless she gets more pledged delegates than Obama, a virtual impossibility after tonight, she is toast.
