I look at it this way.

I heard that Military dogs saved over 10,000 American lives in Vietnam. At the end of the War we abandoned them to South Vietnam. Many of them was ended up starved to death or eaten.
I don’t think God was pleased with our actions towards his canine heroes and that is one reason that the USA has had problems since Vietnam.
Some jerk like Bghater in the Defense Department thought they was just animals.
