I said you’re coming across like one - I didn’t say you are one.
The fact that you’re outraged speaks well of you. This is the kind of event that should outrage all of us. But the guilty person here is the perpetrator of the grisly deed, not a religion, not a society, not a nation.
This incident has hit a nerve with a lot of people, and in this article the folks at the marketplace where the murder occurred were all horribly shocked and anything but complacent. If such a thing was acceptable in Islam they would have just shrugged it off and went on with their lives. That doesn’t seem to be the case here. I expect this man will be charged with murder and executed for his crime. I just wish such murderers in this country of ours would meet that punishment more often.
