Wikipedia is a place where Eschoir, the worst troll in the history of Free Republic, is now the official biographer of Free Republic.
One Wikipedia administrator said that it was like letting Greenpeace write the article about the Exxon Valdez, but it didn't do a bit of good. Eschoir is still the editor in charge of the Free Republic article, and he's working in concert with another Wikipedia editor (the notorious BenBurch of Democratic Underground) to post the personal details of Freepers on other pages, in violation of a federal injunction. Jimmy Wales has created a left-wing propaganda site cleverly disguised as an encyclopedia. It's appropriate that he is humiliated like this. Jim, is this true? Can we sign on to Wikipedia and correct any mistakes, or is it like trying to stop the waves from coming in at the seashore?

It would be like trying to hold back the tide. I couldn’t care less about what the liberals have to say about FR. Wikipedia is simply another Marxist attempt to control free speech by not only rewriting history, but by rewriting the present.
