It really should be that clear - we’re stuck with McCain, someone who’s not that much different from a Democrat. Whether the Dem nominee is Hillary of Obama, they will win. How could McCain beat either of them? So which is worse, Hillary or Obama? Hillary could be reined in, but Obama is the “Messiah,” doncha know? I really believe he’s unstoppable, unless we can stop him now. And if she wins, lots of folks will be fighting Hillary, but very few will oppose Obama.
Abortion. Iraq. FISA. The Patriot Act. Those are some key differences between McCain and both Democrats. Iraq is especially important to me - we’re making so much progress there, and Democrats will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Such a move would embolden every terrorist with a grudge against this country.
I realize we have our disagreements with McCain. But as Ronald Reagan often said, better to compromise and get some of what you want, than to get nothing at all.
