Did HUckabee flunk math?

Is he that dumbed down?

It’s impossible for him to win. The gap is so wide, that it is OBVIOUS to anyone with a brain that he is irrelevant. He’s become an unmedicated political hemorrhoid.

Here’s his 2/26/08 e-mail to his base supporters. Yes, I’m on his email list and NEVER have supported him.

Will you co-sign my letter to John McCain asking him to consider a Lincoln-Douglas debate before the March 4 primary?

You can find the letter here.

Now that the race for the Republican nomination is down to just two candidates, I believe this is the time for a real discussion about our vision for the future of this great country. I believe a Lincoln Douglas-style debate so that voters can better understand our views on critical issues such as health care, education, energy independence, terrorism and national security is just what we need.

Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, have had recent opportunities to underscore the differences in their positions. It seems only fitting to me that Republican primary voters are offered the same.

So please co-sign my letter to John McCain and ask your friends and family to do so as well.

With deep gratitude,

Mike Huckabee

This is delusional lunacy! McCain has the nominee position locked.

Will this fruitcake EVER go away?

The Honorable John McCain

John McCain 2008

P.O. Box 16118

Arlington, VA 22215
Dear Senator McCain:

It’s been my pleasure sharing the stage with you this past year, as we have worked to promote our ideas to lead this country. I have the deepest respect for you as a person, politician, and an American hero – and I appreciate the way you have run such an issue-based, positive campaign.

Now that the race for the Republican nomination is down to just the two of us, I believe this is the time for a real discussion about our vision for the future of this great country. I encourage you to join me in a Lincoln Douglas-style debate so that voters can better understand our views on critical issues such as health care, education, energy independence, terrorism and national security.

Our Democratic counterparts, Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, have had recent opportunities to underscore the differences in their positions. It seems only fitting to me that Republican primary voters are offered the same.

I look forward to working with your staff to schedule this as soon as possible. I would suggest we set the debate before the March Fourth Primaries. It is my hope that one of the TV networks would offer to sponsor such an event.

Senator, let’s lead by example and get the ball rolling. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this idea and debating you in front of the American people

Sincerely,

Mike Huckabee

Former Governor of Arkansas (1996-2007)

It’s misleading his base and has him looking more and more insane. He needs to give it up! Even the media ignores him, as they should.

You can mock all you want, but until voters have officially chosen McCain, Huckabee offers voters in states that have yet to participate, an option. To call the race early is cheating. It is anti-republican and discriminatory to the people in states that vote late. Frankly, it is rude of McCain not to continue debating. Why shouldn’t the voters of Texas and Ohio have a choice? It is wrong to let New York and California choose for Texas and Ohio. At least wait until one candidate has 50% of the delegates. Those are the rules. Play by them.

McCain is an quite an old man. Can he stand up to the continued rigors of running for President? What if it turns out that he can’t? Huckabee is standing on the sideline. We tend to think everything will go on as planned but life doesn’t always turn out that way.
