Acid is stronger than pepper spray. More permanent, as well.
So, they will be attacked and maimed for life by the “righteous muslim men,” then charged with assault for using pepper spray.
Allah will surely reward these righteous moes in the hereafter with seven tufted titmice each for performing such splendid deeds with such piety, bravery and elan.

If they’re nimble, they may avoid the acid as they use the pepper spray. And it mayhap be that the “righteous muslim men” get the message that they’re not so righteous.
