This may come as a surprise to you and some of the other crybabies on this and other topics, but this Republican is completely disgusted with the spoiled children that are threatening to pick up their marbles and run home because their candidate didn't get nominated.

Frankly I think in the long run it is highly possible that the damage you and others will do is more to the more conservative part of the Republican party. If in this election many of you do sit out the election you may well convenience many that you are more hindrance that the base of the party.

What I have said in other posts, no one who bales out on this election has any reason to call themselves the base of the party.

I see more of the "put some ice on it" crowd has joined the conversation.

Conservatives have problems with McAmnesty on the issues. How do you think calling them names is going to convince them of anything?

Quite frankly, you are showing just how little ammunition you have in this argument.

The fear and loathing of the Democrats and the "Lessor of Two Evils" approach does not work when your candidate has decided that running to the left continually is the best way to win an election.

All this behavior does is strengthen the desire of the base to not vote at all.

How little ammunition I have? Understand I am not trying to convince you to vote for McCain, I might as well try to convince a rock! No I am venting my opinion of the minority that have the opinion you have and letting you know that you have no reason to consider yourself the base of the party! The base doesn't bale out as you are apparently going to do.

As to your last statement"strengthen the desire of the base to not vote at all." defies reason. As I said no one who is the base will not vote. Crybabies take that route.

It's a beautiful day here in Western N. Carolina and I have to get ready for church and go out and enjoy my day.
