I think Cunningham should come out and apologize to Obama on McCain's’s behalf.

I am all for rational discourse over substantive issues. However, McCain’s “outrage” and apology over benign comments, relatively speaking, by a local radio talk show host make me question who really is the PC leftist—McCain or Obama?
Childishness is part of politics. We shouldn’t revel in it, but we shouldn’t weep over it either.

were dooomed no matter which 3 are elected. All McCain has to do is hire some high-powered economic aides and select a conservative VP. And repudiate the amnesty thing.
The one thing (and it's the only thing) I like about McCain is his dry sense of humor. In this article, it really shines through, as he slaps down Obama. Notice how quickly Obama became defensive. Obama would be easier to beat than Hillary.

"So I have some news for John McCain," he added, saying there was no al-Qaida presence in Iraq until President Bush invaded the country.
The only way Obama could possibly know that is to know all of the activities of al-Qaida. He should be arrested and immediately interrogated to find out who his contact is and how he is informed of their whereabouts.
Unless he's just speculating and calling it the truth.

Thanks for that explanation, Prairie.

Can you name one issue on which McCain is unacceptable and Obama is acceptable? Nope.
If not, then it would seem that if McCain was a democrat, youd find him the most acceptable of the democrats.
Based on his issues stances, that would be true (I think there are legitimate questions about McCain's temperament and character aside from that, but for the sake of discussion, I agree).
Which would then mean you find him unacceptable simply because he is willing to associate with your party.
Not at all, I find him unacceptable regardless of where he is, just as I find Obama and Clinton unacceptable. By the way, the Republicans are no longer "my party" even if they are marginally less hostile to my values than the Demonrats.

If Sen. Obama is elected, al Qaeda will be running Iraq within six months. It’s going to be very bad news for the men and women in uniform and for the state of Israel.

I’m saving it. I think everyone else needs to also!
