I didn’t agree with everything Bill Buckley said, but watching and listening to him flex the muscles of his intellect was a sight to behold.

I agree. I recall a debate in which the actor, Dennis Weaver, was talking abut the environment and how we could change and that everything was capable of being improved. A typical progressive sentiment, that sounded reasonable. But Buckley immediately shot back in his coy, mischievous way, "Tell me Mr. Weaver, what changes would you make to improve the " Moonlight Sonata?" Weaver was clearly out of his element.

I don't think Limbaugh even compares to Buckley. Buckley was a one of a kind polymath. I'm sure God is going to enjoy his company.

Perhaps Dennis Weaver has had enough time to come up with a witty rejoinder now, as he passed on a few years ago prior to Buckley? ;)
