NOTE: here is the old story. I remembered that Tim Russert had become physically ill after watching 5 hours of footage of the Juanita Broaddrick interview. All these years, Russert has known that Bill Clinton really did rape Juanita. He had to know of Hillary's role in threatening and silencing women. For those who saw tonight's debate, many think that Russert was unusually tough on Hillary. Was this, consciously or subconsciously, Russert's way of finally doing something about the injustice? Was he putting a stake into the heart of the vampire?

**Exclusive** NBC NEWS has taken its interview with Jane Doe #5 out of the freezer -- and has put it into the oven!
On Wednesday night at 8 pm ET [Family Hour?] NBC NEWS will broadcast an exclusive television interview with Juanita Broaddrick, a woman who has accused Bill Clinton of rape.
"This was the hardest day of my life since I lost my father in '71," Broaddrick told a producer from NBC NEWS after her five hour interview.
The interview was scheduled to air on Jan. 29, at the height of the impeachment trial in the Senate, but it hit resistance from NBC NEWS executives.
One month later, NBC NEWS has announced that it will now air that interview -- an interview that made one NBC NEWS superstar physically sick after he watched it! The DRUDGE REPORT has learned that NBC NEWS Washington Bureau chief Tim Russert got sick to his stomach when he viewed the five hour session between NBC NEWS reporter Lisa Myers and Broaddrick.
Russert told associates that Broaddrick's story left him speechless and upset him physically after he viewed raw tapes of the interview. Broaddrick tells NBC NEWS, in graphic detail, how Bill Clinton raped her back in 1978. Broaddrick had denied under oath that such an assault occurred.
Clinton lawyer David Kendall issued a denial last week. "Any allegation that the president assaulted Mrs. Broaddrick more than 20 years ago is absolutely false," Kendall said. "NBC is just trying to compete with the GRAMMY AWARDS," one White House source told the DRUDGE REPORT on Tuesday afternoon. "This is a sweeps stunt!" charged another Clinton supporter.
NBC NEWS reporter Lisa Myers was en route to New York from Washington late Tuesday night, according to network sources.
Myers will anchor her Broaddrick story in-studio for DATELINE. A source close to Broaddrick on Tuesday evening questioned if NBC NEWS has edited out the most dramatic moments of the interview."
We knew this story will eventually come out AFTER the Senate vote. The government-Media Complex at work. Capital Hill Report documented over 10 women who claimed to have been raped /harrased by Clinton !
I think, if Russert was extra hard on Hillary, that the most likely reasons were that he, like much of the media, are tired of being treated badly by Hillary’s staff, and because he’s jumping on the Obama bandwagon.
.. . . .I first pushed him away. I just told him 'no.'... He tries to kiss me again. He starts biting on my lip... And then he forced me down on the bed. I just was very frightened. I tried to get away from him. I told him 'no.'... He wouldn't listen to me." In an interview for the Wall Street Journal editorial page, Broaddrick claimed that Clinton told her not to worry about pregnancy, because childhood mumps had left him sterile.[3] The alleged incident occurred two years before Chelsea Clinton was born. . .

Seems that when NBC wanted to protect the Clintons they buried this story in 1999, but now that they want to harm Hillary and help Obama, they plan to run it this weeek?
Could it he that our MSM is even slimier and more amoral than many of us have long believed?
the thing I’ve thought about for years about this is the following: The Clintons have known since the 1970’s? that there was a rape allegation against Bill and yet both of them plowed ahead in the political world and never let it phase them. On a simple practical level it is insanity ...How do you know someone (Juanita) will keep her mouth shut? How can an opponent not use the info to crush the Clintons ? ...How can they continue ?
Sociopaths do not care, they are right and there are no consequences.
I thought of the story during the debate and thought I’d bring it back and make the commentary. My commentary was an idea of why Russert did what he did tonight. Many of us were surprised.
People like Russert are not about justice or fighting injustice, they are about promoting liberalism and themselves. His "script" tonight was written by somebody else and he was more than happy to read it. (IMHO)
Sorry for the confusion. They are not re-running the story. Actually, the reason for that is that Juanita herself did not want it run again.
I brought the story back specificially for the mention of Russert.
It was the dodge over the Russert questioning on driver’s licenses for illegal aliens that revealed her weakness. This resulted in weeks of tail-chasing in the Clinton camp and opened the door for Obama.
It was the dodge over releasing tax returns that will seal her fate in TX/OH. Russert just did not let Mrs. Clinton get away with the “We’ll get around to it” response, and she was caught flat-footed. In a debate where she had to offer a damn good reason for people to vote for her, Mrs. Clinton looked like just another mumbling dissembler.
The rapist and his enabler Hillary should have fallen long ago but they are about to meet their Waterloo now in the form of an upstart, (Or should I say “uppity” start) Barak Hussein.

One point of possible interest is Broaddrick’s allegation that Clinton bit her upper lip in order to overcome her resistance. A police officer and expert on sex-crimes who was interviewed on radio by former FBI agent, prosecutor, and convict G. GordonLiddy (who knows the legal system inside and out), said that lipbiting is a “suppression technique” commonly used by serial rapists. It allows the assailant to subdue the victim while leaving his arms and legs free. The officer said that on the basis of Broaddrick’s description of the crime, he would go straight to his “serial rapist file” to compile a list of likely suspects. Just a thought — is this the sort of detail a woman would be likely to make up if she were fabricating a false report of a rape?
