Two thumbs up. But both countries are getting highly selective about who they let in - great for residents, not so great for would-be immigrants.
Chile is worth a long look, too.
Manila? Cebu or Cagayan de Oro City has it all over Manila... I’ll rent you a new 2/2 duplex in a gated community for P20,000/month in CDO and get you a maid/cook for P5,000 , P8,000 if you want a young and pretty one,,, I’ll even buy dinner at www.spookscdo.com for you...
We wish you and the other Paultards would move ASAP.
Oh yeah these are not my cup of tea. I don’t like large tropical snakes, not being able to speak language or in case of one of their mini-wars with a rebellion- r they crazy?
Now for the US places, Pittsburg?, or Tucson, be sure to get a reverse osmosis system installed so you can redrink, recycle and reuse the Colorado river over and over and over. No thanks. Oh you could drink the cactus juice.
Please don’t get mad if you live there, because I am spoiled here in Mtns.
My new favorite country is Argentina - fabulous!
Belize is worth consideration, as are the Turks & Caicos Islands.
Personally I would rank it a higher quality of living than Thailand or the Philippines.
And maybe cheaper as well...
You can rent a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment (1100 sq ft) in a gated community - for US$ 315.00 a month.
I would prefer Christchurch - large enough to have some good amenities but not so crowded. I do like Auckland though. I would like to move to NZ though.
You couldn't pay me enough to actually live in Manila.
Now let's talk about Palawan or Zambales.
I am seriously considering that.
