I thought brides choose dresses for their brides maids that made the bride look better and they would want their bridesmaids fatter than them. The fatter they are the skinnier they look.

My gown was chiffon and lace and pearls. I selected the bridesmaids dresses to compliment my dress. They were chiffon and as I had 7 bridesmaids, I let them choose the color that best suited them. So my wedding party, except for the fellows who were in white, was a rainbow..made for wonderful pictures and the girls all wore their dresses again.
