I am conservative first, not Republican first. By offering me McCain as the leader of the Republican party, they drew a line I refuse to cross. I didn't leave the party here, they left me.
When being right of McCain makes me a member of the "radical" wing of the party, it's time to stand up against the direction this party is moving. I'm not drinking the kool-aid.
