I was reading a white paper from Heritage the other day and it contained a good quote from Margaret Thatcher, which is still very relevant: "[I]t would be both cruel and stupid to expect the Albanian Kosovans now to return to live under any form of Serbian rule." I have to agree. This seems so straightforward to me, I guess I'm surprised to see so many opinions to the contrary.
So it’s ok for the Albanians to run Serbians out of Kosovo!
NATO should never have gone into Kosovo!

Srebrenica was all over the news but you never heard any of the things that the Albanians were doing.
What should have been done is to keep our noses out of other peoples business and only get involved in things that are in the interest of the United States.

The problem is, I see a lot of rioting in Serbia, but unfortunately, a lack of realistic, truly good, ideas.”
I’ve thought about this myself many times. Overall, with the history of the Balkans there may never truly be peace there. It is what it is. All sides have very deep scars. But if you’re looking for a real good idea, I can tell you what definitely NOT to do. You do not show Muslim extremists that our international laws can be broken (with the US leading the charge, at that) if they push the right buttons. These laws are what separates the present day world from pre-WWI and WWII. They were made to prevent any sort of land grabs such as this. The blatant breaking of them may indeed be the opening of Pandora’s Box.
