Barack Obama now faces a new challenge - one that is sure to be much more scandalous than anything he's seen so far. If the allegations are to be believed, it's also a scandal that his campaign has tried to cover up. A Minnesota man has come forth, claiming that he took cocaine in 1999 with Obama, the then-Illinois legislator, and participated in homosexual acts with him.
Larry Sinclair, the man making the claims, said his story was ignored by the news media. Still not willing to let this one slip quietly under the rug, Sinclair made a YouTube video in which he made his case. It's had over half a million views already, but the story has still been largely ignored by the news media.
Sinclair's next step was to file a suit in Minnesota District Court, in which he alleges threats and intimidation by the Democratic presidential candidate's staff.
Still out to prove that he is telling the truth, Sinclair said he is willing to submit to a polygraph test. A website (WhiteHouse.com) has come forth offering him $10,000 for the right to record the polygraph test, and another $100,000 if he passes it.
Sinclair lives in Duluth, Minnesota, and in his filing, charges that his civil rights have been violated by Barack Obama and the Democratic Party. Obama, David Axelrod of AKP Message & Media in Chicago, and the Democratic National Committee have been named as defendants in the case.
Sinclair, who describes himself as gay, claims they met in an upscale Chicago lounge. They left in Sinclair's limo, where the drug use and sex allegedly took place for the first time. Sinclair says that Obama smoked crack cocaine, and that he snorted powder cocaine provided by Obama.
Sinclair, 46, says that he no longer uses drugs. He claims to be physically disabled, but says that he was not physically impaired in 1999 when they met.
Regarding the claims, Sinclair said:
"My motivation for making this public is my desire for a presidential candidate to be honest. I didn't want the sex thing to come out. But I think it is important for the candidate to be honest about his drug use as late as 1999."
The amount of crap thrown at the sitting President by the far left make anything that left or right throw at Mr. All Talk fair game...
Until it is shown to be true or false.
It will make him more sympathetic to libs. Poor Obama... no one should live having to hide their true self. It is the fault of the evil conservatves and christians. Let’s make him president. /s
Hmm... that didn't work for Gerry Studds or Ted Kennedy.
I would really hope we are above taking advantage of a disturbed individual to bring down Obama. BTW - Obama has beaten Hillary in several primaries since this “came out” on YouTube.
Please tell me you do not measure the validity of a story by the following:
“Google news for “larry sinclair” obama. On the web today there are 44 pages, googling news you get 1 page, googling blogs you get umpteen pages. The video on youtube has 385,000 views with a dozen clones on the internet.”
That is sad. Using that logic the “Bat Boy” in The Weekly World News is real because millions of people saw his picture while waiting to check out of the grocery store.
There are a lot of substantive ways to defeat Obama. Let’s stay above using a disturbed person who throws trash against the wall to see what sticks.

The Cleveland Leader is a newspaper. It carries local, national and international news and it is subscription-based. Like many papers, it has an online edition. I don’t know what it’s subscriber base is, but it broke the story..It is not a blog.
It's not just southerners who are racists. Northerners too. And it's not just whites. I hear more racist comments from blacks than I do from whites.
blogs lead the “legitimate” news sources by about a week... Clintonians are timing this to peak a few days before the next set of primaries...
So do I. And I can testify that there are are no nut cases here.

Larry Craig was arrested and plead guilty to a crime. Foley had obscene instant messages leaked.
No evidence -- aside from this guy's less than convincing (imho) YouTube videos -- has come to light here.
If you don't know what it means, that says something good about you. If anybody tries to tell you, set it on stune.

A work mate and I were talking. Who are you voting for, I asked. Anticipating the word “Hillary” I was gobsmacked when she said the most conservative candidate I CAN find. Then, named Huckabee. She is definately NOT the Huckabee type.

You don’t understand. This will cost him his core support, which is among blacks. “Punk” and “On the down low” are not compliments among black males.
It doesn’t make any sense to me. I don’t like Obama and I don’t like a far leftist masquerading as a moderate. But he genuinely seems to be a nice man (compare him to Hillary who doesn’t have a nice bone in her body) who is devoted to his family. It would take a lot more than this man to convince me this is true. Of course, it doesn’t take a revelation like this to convince me never to cast a vote for Obama.
The story may well be true. But those that would vote for Obama, wouldn’t care if it was true. At most this peels off a couple of “Moderates to McCain” and gets the Log Cabin Republicans to vote Obama.
Drudge doesn’t post scandalous rumors unless he has the honor of being the first.

I think you're mistaken. Never heard of the Leader. FWIW, the actual newspaper in Cleveland is the Plain Dealer. Have a link to any source showing the Leader exists in print form?
