your mean.....I like that in you
Since the race was postponed, will Mears and Hornish be able to race on Monday?
No problem. Just give Brainless a sec to make up a couple new rules.
My question: Will they patch up all the cracks they cut in creating that drainage system?
Since both their cars were totaled, they cannot bring out a backup, so they might as well leave for Vegas if they haven’t already.
The other guys cannot work on their cars during a red flag.
In all fairness, they really should just start the race over today and let the guys who wrecked use their backup cars, but that would mean admitting they made a mistake and that will never happen.
Helton tried to say that none of the drivers complained before the race............well DUH, Jr said during the pace laps that the track was dirty and wet in spots. I’m sure others said the same.
The track at Rockingham doesn't weep.
TMS does, or did, maybe they put in permanent grooves.
Let’s start at the beginning. It rained off and on the entire weekend in Southern California, where precipitation falls about as often as Britney Spears goes a day without being in the news. Jet blowers used to dry the track on Friday and again on Sunday burned off some of the sealer used to repair cracks.
Water then began seeping through the cracks, starting a rumor that the Environmental Protection Agency [EPA] would be brought in because residue from a nearby refinery had leaked onto the track.
snip!
This isn’t the first time seepage — or weeping as drivers like to call it — has been a problem at tracks. In 1998, NASCAR chairman Bill France Jr. threatened to cancel an event at Texas Motor Speedway if a leaking problem in Turn 1 wasn’t corrected.

I might add that was BILL France and NOT Bryan!
That is the difference.
Don't know what you can really do about it other than drop the surrounding elevation below the lowest point on the track.
Surprised the EPA hasn’t come in and declared it “Wetland.” Around here, a puddle forming in a cow’s hoofprint during a gully-washer is enough to garner that designation.
Where did they buy the Carbon Credits to burn 6000 gallons of Jet Fuel to run the Jet Driers...
Algore Inc. ?
Ya’ll sure are on a roll for this early in the morning!
My first click this morning was on the Fantasy League and that was a heart stopper. I was King of the Hill when I went to bed and now they show me dead last and other teams I checked are just as bad.
I got a good nights sleep by counting Jet Driers and Tow Trucks. I will miss some of the race today because PG&E is going to run the new overhead wire to the Church this morning. The rains have stopped for a couple of days here.
Can someone post the starting order this morning...

What time today is the restart? And is Fox Sports still carrying it?
Thanks

so 10am Kalifornia time ??????????
Thanks
According to the screen cap in 1194, it's noon Central and still on Fox.
Just couldn’t sleep last night after being hopped up and lied to on start/delay times, etc. Most of us were saying much earlier, knock it off already. It was pretty disgusting.
