He is (as you pointed out) striking a chord with millions of Americans. He is the result of the Oprah-ization of America.
He is tapping the restless, confused and ignorant. Whenever we see him speak we don’t see hundreds, we see thousands and 10’s of thousands standing in line to hear him speak. They are exemplary of the mob mentality- which we humans can get caught up in.
And those 10’s of thousands all have their hand out to receive that which he has promised. We are in deep doo-doo.
Germany in the 30’s got caught up in their version of this....if you get my drift.
