Does the Republican party have a death wish? I am asking myself the same question about Conservatives who would allow Barack Obama to become the next president rather than vote for John McCain.

You keep asking yourself that question.
Meanwhile ... back at the voting booth ... McCain

You should be asking yourself why the GOP would endorse a Socialist knowing Conservatives will never accept or support McCain.

I am asking myself the same question about Conservatives who would allow Barack Obama... You know we survived 8 years of Bill Clinton and got a republican congress for the first time in 50 years. We survived 4 years of Jimmy Carter and got a Ronald Reagan. I think we could survive another democrat.
When you can't tell the difference between a republican and a democrat it is "time for change".
