"Because much of America is stupified on drugs.."

It would appear so.

Many of them prescribed and paid for by the taxpayers.

I have no desire to outlaw abortion and then have the horror of thousands of women dying of illegal abortions.

That idea is completely false. Educate yourself.

Abortion is not about saving women’s lives!

Studies Find Abortions Have Long-Term Effects

An Unexpected Correlation: The Legacy of Abortion

Study: Previous Abortions Linked With Pre-Term Birth and Cerebral Palsy

45,951,133

Total Abortions since 1973

------------------------------------------------------------

Why the drop after 1960? (in deaths of women from illegal abortions)

The reasons were new and better antibiotics, better surgery and the establishment of intensive care units in hospitals. This was in the face of a rising population. Between 1967 and 1970 sixteen states legalized abortion. In most it was limited, only for rape, incest and severe fetal handicap (life of mother was legal in all states). There were two big exceptions — California in 1967, and New York in 1970 allowed abortion on demand. Now look at the chart carefully.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Abortion Statistics - Decision to Have an Abortion (U.S.)

· 25.5% of women deciding to have an abortion want to postpone childbearing

· 21.3% of women cannot afford a baby

· 14.1% of women have a relationship issue or their partner does not want a child

· 12.2% of women are too young (their parents or others object to the pregnancy)

· 10.8% of women feel a child will disrupt their education or career

· 7.9% of women want no (more) children

· 3.3% of women have an abortion due to a risk to fetal health

2.8% of women have an abortion due to a risk to maternal health

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So how many women’s lives have been saved by abortion?

Only about 3% of abortions since 1972 were reported to be “due to a risk to maternal health.” A reasonable person would recognize that not all of those cases represent a lethal risk. But let’s say they did. That means that nearly 45 million fetuses were butchered to save the lives of about 1.3 million women. Or put another way; 35 babies are killed to save each woman.

Abortion was legal in all 50 states prior to Roe v. Wade in cases of danger to the life of the woman.

In all seriousness, anybody that says Hillary Clinton has integrity is either completely deluded, or they have no integrity themselves.

Or both.

This guy is corrupt to the bone marrow. It’s like a corrupt master in Rome, his coerced slaves live in greater dignity than he does in his autorepressive liberalness into nihilism.

The commies seem to have scored a hit in Hanoi when they got him there.

Anyone who’d use the word “integrity” to describe either of the clintoons has to be demented.

Bipartisanship has become one of the many ways to say: it is OK to destroy America in PC ways and not OK to destroy your enemies in unPC ways. It’s a cult which destroys culture by libertine behavior. It’s a cult of cowardice which cannot understand the fair duel of cultures and instead wants each to f the other.

IF she is a VP pick, then either he’s going to kow tow to her or he’s asking for her Arkancide treatment.

Hillary wants to be prez, for the mere title of it.

The likely Republican presidential nominee said Clinton "would be a good president in the respect that I think she has integrity, I think she has all of the qualities that are necessary, but she has a very different philosophical view, the liberal Democratic view, than I have, which is conservative Republican."

McCain was trying to see how many falsehoods he could squeeze into a single statement.

He might as well have called himself "a little teapot".

What a joke.

Gee -- you seem to think there's only one candidate in the entire race. Are you aware there are two SOCIALISTS running on the other side?

And anyway, what about this guy?

Being in the senate is about being collegial -- which is one reason why Senators have such a problem in Presidential elections. Then again, when was the last time we had three senators as finalists?

Remember, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

And anyway, what about this guy. Remember him?

I’d certainly agree with Hillary having “a very different philosophical view”. (Whether it is particularly different from John McCains view is another matter). As for the rest, perhaps he knows something we don’t. Maybe Hillary really likes puppies, donates loads of money anonymously to various good causes, and weeps real tears without recourse to onions. Who can say? Sounds a tad unlikely though.
