GE this month announced it was moving the headquarters of its consumer-finance division, currently in Connecticut. Where to? London. I wonder why. Does Sarbanes Oxley have anything to do with it?

Most likely, Bloomberg said, last spring I believe, that unless Sarbanes-Oxley is at least modified, New York will lose its status as a world financial capital. And Bloomy isn’t exactly a conservative.
