Surely there will be a write-in on the ballot?

The choice is to vote for a 3rd party candidate. People don’t remember when voters “sit it out” or “write in”.....but people remember that Perot got 19% of the vote.

He's proven his dislike for conservatives and would gut us at every opportunity.

While weakening the party from within.

First, the Republican race isn't over. Huckabee is still around

If Huckabee wins every state left by 85% or more of the vote, he still does not win the nomination. Romney, by releasing his delegates to McCain, has given him the nomination. McCain only needs to win about 15% of the vote in any one of the remaining split states to win.

I personally will not cast a vote for the presidency

Not a great idea. Write a name in if you must, but do vote. Personally I think it would be awesome if there were a concerted effort to win one state with a write in candidate just to send the message loud and clear.

McCain will be a disaster for Conservatives if he becomes the nominee let alone President.

"Besides, what other choice do you have?"

The problem is that the GOP is attempting to push us into a corner where we'll have to do something immoral, and this is where they're making the mistake.

Our choice is to tell them to POUND SAND and write-in the candidate of our choice.

McCain is not a leftist. He may not be as conservative as we would like on some issues but his record is unmistakable when it comes to Taxes, spending, Pro-Life and no special rights for homosexuals. I never thought I’d vote for McCain but provided he moves right and chooses a conservative VP then I’ll vote for him. To say there is no difference between McCain and Obama is just a lie. Not liking him is fine but hating him is not an excuse to embrace defeat.

OK. It's John McCain vs. Karl Marx.

Take your choice and remember just how long it took for Russia to recover after Lenin took over. The answer is that they haven't recovered yet and won't in my lifetime.

And if you don't think Obama is the next Lenin or Marx you had better read up on his policy statements and his programs.

Not that they loved Huckabee, but that they have zero trust in the promises of McCain.

And who can blame them? I'm not a Republican, but I see where everyone in the party should be pissed off. McCain's underhanded antics increasingly remind of a part of A Christmas Carol, Present talking about the children Ignorance and Want:

Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom, unless the writing be erased. Deny it!" cried the Spirit, stretching out its hand towards the city. "Slander those who tell it ye! Admit it for your factious purposes, and make it worse. And bide the end!"

Real Americans don't vote for Soros-funded liberals...even if they have an 'R' by their name!

I swear...these McCain supporters would be cheerleaders for Hillary if she switched parties.

McCain has sold conservatives out time and time again to cozy up with liberals.

Now that the libs have used him to push conservatives out of the Republican nomination his usefulness is over and his democrat pals are starting to cut him loose.
They crossed over to vote for him in the primaries but everyone except MCCain and his McCainiac followers knows they will vote solidly democrat in November.

McCain will not have the liberal voters he sucked up to over the years and he won't have the conservative voters he has screwed for a living.

Maybe there is some justice once in a while.

The following is by Bill Press/Syndicated columnist and author.
He was also the chairman of the California Democratic Party from 1993 to 1996.

Bill Press: All Aboard the McCain Double Talk Express

"To all my friends, Democrats and Independents, who have told me they'd consider voting for John McCain in November, I have only two words.

PLEASE DON'T.

For the sake of God, country and Mother Theresa, wise up.

Now that it's clear he's going to be the Republican nominee for president, it's time to end our love affair with John McCain."

Americans are being told by the mainstream media that conservatives have no other choice than to back the hypocrite from Arizona.

Incorrect. Show me one MSM source that claims that conservatives "have no other choice." That's total nonsense.

All that is required is to pretend he is "really" a conservative.

Incorrect. Show one MSM source advocating that we "pretend" McCain is "really a conservative." More nonsense. The old MSM bogeyman...as if having conseravtives sit out and pout while the DEMs march to victory ISN'T what the MSM would prefer.

We have plenty of choices, none of which calls for casting our vote for the lesser of two presidential evils.

But only two choices are of any consequence: McCain or the DEM nominee. The other choices are all equally meaningless.

First, the Republican race isn't over.

But it will be soon.

Even if Huckabee loses, what makes anyone think conservatives will vote for McCain?

57% of Freepers who responded to the poll say they will vote for McCain. That means the sit out and pout crowd is a minority of a minority.

and would gut us at every opportunity.

Like he did when he voted for Roberts and Alito? Like he does by supporting victory in Iraq?

McCain, as president, would stifle the voices of elected Republican leaders and try to legislate the conservative movement out of existence.

As president, McCain would work with both sides.

I personally will not cast a vote for the presidency -- that is, if McCain is the Republican nominee. Under no circumstances will I vote for either of the Democrats.

But by sitting out, you help the Democrats win.
