The only way to stop terrorist is to do to them what we did to the Nazi and Tojo Japan. That is what I said. There is NO PEACE without victory this crap that somehow peace will come without war and victory is totally stupid.
You're right, and actions like this do nothing but convince the terrorists we haven't the will. We haven't the will to enforce our own longstanding laws, these go back to the late 80s, much less combat terror states.
This is the most discusting thing of this nature I can recall since another Secretary of State, James Baker, participated in the 9/11 victims lawsuit, representing the Saudis.
While they're not the solution, judgements like this, or the recent $6 billion Pan Am 103 judgement against Libya (which consistancy requires the administration to oppose) do play a role in dissuading states from providing terrorists safe haven within their borders.
