And a week later going on stage with McCain to endorse him and giving his delegates the OK to go with McCain. (even though McCain looked like he was severely constipated there, LOL!)
And days after that, Huckabee is still campaigning. And still running off about Romney, who is no longer an opponent!
Romney made Huckabee look like a cheap, selfish, greedy blowhard in grand style. And Huckabee's mad in public because it took him only 12 days to figure out what happened to him?
“Romney had the most class bowing out at the big CPAC convention like a gentleman. And clearly stated that his campaign was not about personal ambition, but the country’s future. “
The guy registers republican to run a losing race in 1994, pulls off one term as a Massachusetts governor spending 6 million dollars of his own money to buy the seat, proclaims himself a conservative in 2005 at the start of his presidential run and then spends up to 50 million dollars of his own money in a losing attempt to remake himself, and you think that he isn’t a pure blob of personal ambition?
I just looked up personal ambition and it said, see Mitt Romney, he came out of no where, has nothing to do with conservatism or the republican party, but recently exploded on the scene with a fat wallet and a hunger for power.
Romney was gracious in defeat. Much more gracious than McCain would’ve been or Huckabee, I think.
Romney was even more gracious than Fred...Romney stood up and spoke—didn’t Fred just fire off a press release?
I think this speaks to the character of each man. But all of ‘em are better than the alternative party’s candidates.
