Another LIBERAL KOOK!
LEave it to LIBERAL academia to HONOR and not notice how nuts this kid was.
The Medical Society is worry about gun ownership to the point that they want pediatricians to ask toddlers and children if their parents are gunowners and record it in their medical records in some states. Their argument is gunownership can increase the risk to the life expectancy of the children and parents. However, all these erratic shootings involve individuals who have a long medical history of taking perscription drugs for behavior issues. I think the government needs to review the dispensation of medicine to young children for behavioral issues and its relationship to suicide, homicide/suicides and other violent acts. In other words, perscription drugs may kill more children in the longrun than blaming the ownership of guns.
“He had stopped taking medication and become somewhat erratic in the last couple of weeks,”
It’s going to start (the disarmament) with the encroachment on American’s rights to self-defence and “to keep and bear arms” by keeping those with “mental disabilities” from owning and using firearms! This is a dangerous precedent becuase 1) It gives unelected, some would say corrupt, and even bad science/wrong headed organizations such as the APA the right keep ordinary Americans from owning firearms. Secondly who’s to say who’s “mentally disabled” in the future- say a corrupt system some day determines conservatives (that don’t have the right mental patterns, and ‘go-along-with-the-system’) are “mentally disabled” and dont’ have the “right to keep and bear arms” becuase they could be ‘dangerous and kill people?’ Then WHAT; This is a NEW invasion of your rights!!
So he’s worried about social justice, political violence, and off his meds.
Isn’t that special..
I guess he was so torn over whether to support Obama or Hillary, it put him over the edge. He wanted the change real bad and was in favor of the future, so he was pulled to Obama, but how could he overlook the decades of experience in doing something or other that Clinton brings to the table?
It was just too difficult, so he thought that by going on a murdering rampage, he could maybe get some more gun laws passed or something and help social justice and peace that way.
Horrible. It is a sign of the times. I wonder what meds he was on. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors can be dangerous because they can set up a patient for even more severe boughts of depression when they go off the medication or when the body down regulates serotonin production. This leaves these individuals primed for suicide and other more severe incidents.
I had a co-worker argue passionately yesterday that allowing concealed weapons permit-holders to carry on campus was addressing a statistically insignificant problem with a statistically significant (i.e. dangerous) solution. I'm wondering how statistically significant it felt like to sit there unarmed with a maniac blazing away with a shotgun.
Nice guy. Good looking. Great student with a promising career ahead of him. Spent many late night hours on a suicide crises lines helping others. MASS KILLER.
I could go on and on with other notorious killers.
The media so much wants these killers to fit a profile that works in their interest. And more often than not they do not.
I got a little brother (half). He lives in Madison and was raised a yankee.
I live in Houston and was raised in Texas.
This am when he got started on me about how guns should be outlawed,
I told him that if someone else had a gun , they could have shot back,
and saved lives.
Needless to say, he hung up on me.
Liberals will never learn!
Oh ya Obama is his GOD!
Soon it WILL be a crime to NOT drug up ADULTS and KIDS.
These drugs are ALL bad news.
WAKE UP!
Animal House -— Bluto: “What? Off their meds? Were the Germans off their meds when they bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!”
Well, sorta like Bluto would say!
Whether or not we feel this way or that way about why this event has happen is irrelevent. Humanity is so quick to judge an event before they understand it fully. This forum is attacking liberals, the right to the second amendment, antidepressants, etc. for the sole purpose of defending thier emotional opinions based of thier individual life experiences.
Out of all of this, there is a much larger problem that must be addressed before anything and it is not from the actions of the shooter. On the contrary, it is the action of every individual there. How many there risked their lives trying to stop this man? Then ask yourselves how many of those fled, hid or simply laid in the fetal position while ONE person threatend all the whole stood for? I’m not trying to justify the shooters actions, only trying to make people understand that independent thought, released from fear, of just one, could have stopped this.
To pass judgment on an event, try to point the finger at a single cause and then seek to enforce that opinion to others is self defeating. This was our own individual faults and no one elses. If we want to stop things like this we need to teach our children and selves how to THINK FOR THEMSELVES without worrying about what others are doing. When people can do this there won’t be problems like this because they won’t have an attacker to defend their beliefs against, but instead only see a line of thought that works without condition.
The freedom from the people’s influence, is the awnser to people’s peace.
