“Who knows? But, I’m a conservative first and chose to vote GOP only in so far as it promoted my values and principles. I’m not going to support a party or its candidate when they and he are nothing but “Democrat-Lite”. Voting for that nasty old piece of work is something I cannot do.”
Fair enough, but don’t blame the Republican Party for nominating John McCain. Blame all the conservatives who didn’t support Thompson and Hunter.
True, but now are are faced with McCain vs. either Obama or Hillary, or both. Where do we go from here? As much as I hate to say this, Hillary can probably do the least amount of damage. In the mean time, the conservative base has time to regroup for 2012
Sure, but the GOP has also got to reform its half-ass nominating process. Why should we continue to let two pissant states like Iowa and New Hampshire carry so much political weight and let places like Texas, California and Colorado go begging?
