"Can't guarantee what kinds of pics I'll bring back"
We will appreciate anything you can get. Have Fun.

It’s a northeast thing. The clay hibernates all winter, waiting for the first warm day, and a major dose of calcium chloride (keeps it tacky, keeps the dust down). Then, on a chilly April night, our Northeast Big Block Modified racers take to the track, and all’s right with the world.

The 24 fans on Jr’s board were looking but didn’t find anything yesterday. I’ll post it if they find something.
This week has been beyond fabulous for Jr fans.

Big Block Modified racers take to the track, and alls right with the world. A big block can fix a lot of things!
That sounds like some awesome racing.

How about that? Thanks to Mikey, Dale's qualified for the 500. I know it is a long shot but it would be sweet if DJ could win one of his few starts this season. It would be a nice send off for one of NASCAR's really nice guys.
Just like Dale almost matched Ned's greatness on the track, I think Dale can be as good as his dad in the announcer's booth as well. Dale's smart, articulate, knowledgeable, personable, and unlike some other former drivers-turned-announcers, it won't be all about him.

Good stuff WestCoastGal. Great "Junior" FR profile page too! My girlfriend and I are attending all the Daytona Week car races this week - part business/part personal. Gatorade Duel yesterday was perfect. We loved the cool weather and Junior looked great in Duel 1. This week could not have come fast enough. I am so sick of having to deal with National GOP politics. Anyway, on to this Sundayyyy. Hope everything is going great for you. - FlA

As a Tony Stewart fan, I was worried when the Gibbs team switched to Toyotas. After this past week however, my worries are no more. They are hot!
The difference between BDR and MWR and Joe Gibbs' organization, is that BDR/MWR have some very talented individuals while Joe Gibbs has some very talented individuals and a very talented organization. He had no problems moving from Pontiac, so I didn't think there would be with Toyota. If anything, the Toyota transition is probably smoother than the move from Pontiac, since he is the #1 Toyota team.
He and Tony and the others have to be happy with Toyota, since they are now the premier North American Toyota racing team. Gibbs, Tony, etc., were having to play second or third fiddle when they were driving Chevy. Very good move for them, and it will help BDR and MWR (and it appears to have already done so).
Like I said earlier, I wish Ford was as enthusiastic about their NASCAR program as Toyota is.

Give your son a big hug from us, and tell him thank you! :-)
This Sunday we’ll be rooting for Jr, Mikey, DJ, and Mark Martin.

Thank you!
Hope you both have a fabulous time there.
Racing is much more fun than politics. I personally, have given up on politics, it’s useless.

Dittos! I hear Rusty is on assignment in the studio. Does that mean he is folding towels or is he cleaning toilets...
