What was he supposed to do, support the bigot who hit a low blow on Mitt's faith? endorse the non-start Ron Paul? Mr. Romney did an honorable thing.

I would have preferred that he KEEP the delegates for bargaining at the convention, but anything there would have been a long-shot.

Don’t over-react. It is imperative that Obama (sponsor of the $800 BILLION Global Poverty bill now in the senate) be kept out of power. Hitlery? Let her replace Stevens and Ginsburg? Uh-uh. Romney isn’t just being loyal to the party- he’s being realistic about the country’s short-term future. And he probably knows losing Iraq would be as bad as losing Vietnam was for America.

Romney's on my never sheet now too. This also means he was not really interested in BUILDING THE FENCE either. MCCAIN: NEVER. Why fight in Iraq because they're already here and every once in awhile Chertoff says there's danger lurking and then he fades away.
