This will be the first time I haven’t voted Republican for president, and that goes back a long ways.
I have never voted third party in presidential elections. But then, again, I have never seen a candidate as bad and as dangerous as McCain. And that includes Richard Nixon. I don’t regret voting for him. Or for Eisenhower. Or for Bob Dole. Or for Ford. Or for either Bush. Some of those guys were not the best possible candidates, but they were better than their opponents.
McCain just goes over the line.
Sorry, the issues are simply too serious to shut up and take it.

I was saying the same thing a couple of weeks ago. I’m coming around, though. As much as I love W, I’ve been frustrated that’s he’s turned the other cheek his whole presidency—basically, he’s never fought back.
Well, McCain is a bulldog...you dis him, he slaps you upside the head. And he has a major league thing for al Qaeda. Will he destroy the party? Maybe. Would Obama endanger the country? Possibly. I think I’ll vote the maybe.
