I shut it down halfway because I do not wish to see our brave troops blown up. Hopefully that did not happen, but I don’t need the image stuck in my mind if it did.

I watched it...but after the four-man total-body *KB* over the bomb, it’s pretty boring. :-)

No US troops were in the area. Buncha jihadis thought the’d found their next IED. They didn’t feel a thing. The other jihadis running around afterwards saying “wha’ happen” is kinda funny.

According to the video, no coalition forces involved. Only “volunteer militia.”

It was indeed hard to tell if they were friendlies or not. One guy had an AK47, and 2 of the others were sporting turban-like devices on their heads.
Thus, I did not know if this video had a happy or sad ending, but I assume it is a happy one.
dude!

“Buncha jihadis “
Radio traffic calls them volunteer militia- our side.
Well, I learned something, if someone buries a 155 in the middle of Sepulveda, I’m letting the CHP take care of it, I’m not getting out my AK and entrenching tool to dig it up.

They were not-so-bright Iraqis who were supposedly on our side. Darwin Award winners

Years ago, Willie Mays did a
public service announcement warning children not to play with blasting caps.
Perhaps the Iraqi's need a similar PSA.

Those were friendly militia. They were issued HMMWVs, as you can see in the video. I’ve seen these guys do some crazy stuff and get away with it...in fact I’ve done some crazy stuff and gotten away with it. You could noy pay me enough to remove an IED with an AK muzzle though.
Time for a stick of C4 Pop-n-drop deposited by the friendly neighborhood EOD robot.
