“Q: Does the federal government have the power to cut off funding to the city of Berkeley?
Answer: NO. The use of such a threat to withdraw federal funding for schoolchildren’s healthy lunches, for example, just shows the depths to which ill-informed opponents of this campaign, such as Senator DeMint, have sunk. The people of Berkeley will not be intimidated by empty and debasing threats.”

Riiiight there, Punkos; that would be why Harry Reid was so desperate to get it off the floor and why Boxer and Lee are trying to establish their bona fides with the uber left .... becuase such cut off of funding can’t happen.

And if I were you, Code Punkos....I wouldn’t start talking about the depths to which people sink....because it would force comparisons you may not wish people to make.

On a lighter note, Code Punkos, my German Shephers Hansel and Gretel are hard at work back at my house making a present for you that I’ll be leaving on your doorstep.
