HEY I made the CNN video! Anyone want my autograph?
I’m about the 40 second mark and a little later near the 2:20 mark. I’m holding the yellow poster with BOYCOTT BERKELEY . Blink and you’ll miss it. Strange, herky jerky camera work. LOL
Rogue Yam if I remember, is to my right. We were talking and heard a whoooosh and a column of fire climb a sign post. We went over to watch and we laughing our buns off ‘cause several bikes of the filthy, maggot infested, code stink protesters had been torched by their own side, apparently burning a flag.
Later in the video you can hear chants of girls saying SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU. They were teenagers from the local high school who wear wearing black anti war shirts with orange bandannas. Very fashionable. Anyway they thought our side had started the fire. Not too bright these future burqa wearers.
Still later Syncro asked me if I knew what the sign said. Having no idea I walked down with him to look and he was laughing the whole way. Looking at the scorched sign post, it said PEACE WALL with an arrow pointing behind us. Well it was funny at the time but you had to be there.

“It is the city council, code pink and the police against the Marines, The United States of America, lawful assembly, and the First Amendment.”
Nothing a big fat federal lawsuit won’t fix. Shut off the funds and liberal commies start waking up real fast.
Here's the picture of the Peace Wall sign after the code pinkos burned it with a US flag for a starter and bicycles of their friends for fuel.
Here are some more pictures taken from when I got there at around 1 PM.
One of the Officers from the Berkeley came into the Marine Recruiting Center this morning and told the Marines that the Berkeley Fire Dept supports them 100%
There were about 4 code pinkers there today, and about four Patriots to counter them.
Just for a little history of the patriotism of the Fire Dept, right after 911, they draped all of their fire engines with American Flags in support of the NYFD.
The Mayor made them take them off.
Needless to say, the Fire Fighters were heated up over that.
Thanks for the ping to the pics - Love Cat Moy’s new hat.
Great stuff - thanks.
Hey, I agree with the writing on the hat in that last picture. If they “think pink” they should see a “shrink”.
Yea cool huh?
LOL
Well, it IS California, after all. Better cover all bases:
Asà me ayude Dios.

Fire Fighters have a brotherhood like the Marines do. They understand what it is to put your brother before yourself. I’m sure the Berkeley FD is completely P.O.d about the way our Marines are being slandered!
(Just a side story, I witnessed what a brotherhood Fire Fighters shared during the Southern California wildfires. I was helping at a Fire Fighter outpost in one of the areas hardest hit by the wildfires. A bunch of guys from FDNY had showed up there to serve their brothers food and support them in a hundred other ways. All the guys from FDNY used their vacation time and flew out to California on their own dime to help and serve their brothers. I walked among and talked with some of America’s Greatest Heroes that day. Most of the FDNY I spoke with were at the Twin Towers on THAT DAY 9/11. One of them shared the story of watching, witnessing and hearing fellow American’s falling to their deaths. I’ll never forget his story.)
THANK YOU Syncro, and for everyone else, for showing up and making a difference for our Marines.
More great Berkeley pix by Syncro, and also two posts below at 2,292.
Thanks Syncro
