Military service is much more important than that. We don’t need law breakers as mercenaries to gain legal status.

Does current law "fast track" citizenship for foreigners who legally immigrate if said people serve in the military? I don't have a problem with that at all.

I don’t either. These are green card holders, i.e., legal permanet residents. There are about 30,000 now in the the military. Yes, their citizenship applications are expedited.
