John McCain funded by Soros since 2001

Candidate's Reform Institute also accepted funds from Teresa Kerry

As Sen. John McCain assumes the GOP front-runner mantle, his long-standing, but little-noticed association with left-wing donors such as George Soros and Teresa Heinz Kerry is receiving new attention among his Republican critics.

In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros' Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry's Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.

McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.

In 2006, the Arizona senator was forced to sever his formal ties with the Reform Institute after a controversial $200,000 contribution from Cablevision came to light. McCain solicited the donation for the Reform Institute using his membership on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. In a letter to the Federal Communications Commission, he supported Cablevision's push to introduce the more profitable al la carte pricing, rather than packages of TV programming.

"The fact that our globablist "leaders" decided to insert their influence in the ME by placing military bases there does not absolve them from blame."

This country has been putting our resources off limits to our use since Nixon and his EPA, not allowing us to use our own oil, gas, etc. With each successive administration, Republican and Democrat, the noose has been pulled tighter and regardless of what those who purport to represent us say, they have made us more and more dependent on ME and other foreign sources for our energy. Just curious. What has Paul done in his many years in Washington to change any of that? He can bitch all he wants and blame us for having troops where the source of energy is, but what has he done to change our need to be there? Does he, like many of the Democrats, believe we can use air for energy? Or is he like most of those, Democrat and Republican, who think we can conserve our way into living in caves with candles?

Tina, baby, we all know what you are.

You tinkerers show up here like we were born yesterday, and start posting absurd propaganda for all the tyrants, and you wonder how we see through you?

Diaprax

Delphi Technique

That is what is being done to the American People. Not just by the left either, rather by anyone with an agenda. Their worst nightmare is somebody who won't participate in "the process".

Pretty much sums it up. And, btw, thank you for pointing out what should have been obvious. [insert V8 smack to forehead.] I am aware of Delphi and Diaprax, as I suspect many here are, but putting the word to it in this context is really clarifying. I'm always grateful for reminders of what I know, because I often forget to remember to recall what I know.

I loath Charlie Crist. He’s a smart Alec. He just gave away the farm to the Seminole casinos. In Connecticut the state gets a 25% cut of the slots at tribal casinos. We should be getting at least that

MvVain- normal male
Lindsey Graham - sure seems gay
Crist - sure seems gay or bi

Excellent.

This is our Katrina, writ large. We can wait for FEMA or help ourselves. Your plan of operation is smart, and I have no doubt that you have wisely chosen your battle. Good luck! Send home letters from the front.

Completely out of line, and wholly beyond the pales... particularly given calcowgirl's 6-year+ track record and tenure here, held up alongside your own.

My advice: apologize. Right. NOW.

More broadly, the Keynesian/Fabian/Marxist orthodoxy needs to be extinguished before global communo-fascists control American enterprise, politics, the legal system, and the borders; and before they usurp our natural liberties.

And it goes beyond America - western civilization itself will be destroyed under the auspices of internationalism, where the third-world, socialist Europe, and useful idiots here in America will claim vast global authority and transnational powers; the justifications for the elimination of national sovereignty and individual liberty will span from global warming/climate change, to poverty, terrorism, energy resources, and "human rights". Opposition will eventually be considered a hate crime against humanity....

Boy howdy.....have you ever nailed it. Thanks for the post, cal; pinging to post #347.
