Republicans have actually gotten so arrogant that they don't think they need to fool Conservatives anymore. It's obvious they tolerated us for as long as we voted right and kept quiet. We are the Blacks of the Republican Party. I say enough.

You make a good point. After 32 years of being a Republican I have come to realize I am an alien in my own party. Too many Republican officials have become Democrats (socialists) in their attitudes and desires. There are some quality conservatives left in the party, but it seems the number is quickly shrinking.

McCain is the last straw for me. No way can I vote for the guy, or for that matter, Huckabee. I will, however, support my conservative Republican congressman.
