Which freekin forum am I on? I thought I logged into Freerepublic this morning, but I would never have believed I would be debating whether Hillary or Obama should be IN the Oval Office! Let alone for which Dem candidate posters to this forum would be casting their votes.

I just want to explicitly point something out. I'm talking about voting in the Democratic PRIMARY, since the GOP nomination is pretty much in John McCain's hands. I'm still voting for McCain in the general. McCain wasn't my choice, but IMHO his 65 ACU rating from 2006 is still better than what the other side is going to offer.

So, in that light, what I'm doing is taking advantage of the GOP nomination race being over with and selecting which Dem I'd rather have in the WH if a Dem is going to win regardless. Given the three viable candidates left in this race, my preference is McCain, then Obama then Billary. I consider what I'm doing to be an effective use of my primary vote as a hedge.

The decision has NOT been completed, yet. Please see Jim's post yesterday, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1967802/posts, and the statistics throughout. Everone, including the MSM, are focussing on the fact of how many delegates McCain HAS, forgetting that if he receives less than 588 (prior to yesterdays primaries) he will NOT automatically receive the Pub nomination. It would lead to a brokered convention, hopefully demonstrating to McCain that Conservative voters are not to be discarded as he appears want to do.

Sorry about yelling in my prior post, but some of the comments recently appear unbelievable on FR. bB the time of the general election we should all get behind whoever the Pub nominee will be to prevent Hillary OR Obama from attaining the White House. IMHO, if you think Hillary would be bad, you have yet to contemplate the destruction an extreme liberal like Obama will quickly inflict on our nation.
