We could simply tighten up and shorten the border with selective takings of land the Mexican government now believes to be in its jurisdiction.
They're the guys whose lack of effort on behalf of their people has forced us to do this ~ they should pay for it in some way, and "land for fence" certainly seems a good way to me.
