not funny, true. I heard Laura Ingraham talk about this. She says he is “the conservative’s conservative”, AND SHE IS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mitt Romney’s isn’t a conservative. He just plays one in his TV commercials. He was a flaming LIBERAL as governor of Massachusetts. That is his record. Everything else is just rhetoric and campaign talk.
His pandering is what sealed the deal for me. He promised billions to bailout Detroit while campaigning in Michigan. At least McCain was honest and took the unpopular path and told them that many jobs would NEVER return. Then he promised to provide federal hurricane insurance to all Floridians. At least he only promised $20 billion or so to Detroit. If Florida had another year, like say 2004, the costs to cover the entire state to the federal government could be hundreds of billions or even a trillion dollars. Again, McCain said he was opposed and took the unpopular position.
I hate politicians who will say anything to anybody in order to curry favor. It’s what Democrats do.
