Fine. Can you give me the tally of votes that Romney received as a result of all these endorsements you claim he “bought?” Didn’t work so well, did it...?
It amazes me that every endorsement Romney received had to somehow be discredited. Heck, when Limbaugh started speaking positively about Romney, I learned about Bain’s pending investment in ClearChannel ON FREE REPUBLIC. The implication being that Rush had sold out.
Frankly, after so many times crying wolf, I have a hard time believing the assertions you have listed. They’re copy-pasted from other sources, but it’s apparent that you’ve bought into the claims, even if you haven’t made them.
Sorry, I’m giving Romney the benefit of the doubt. And, I don’t have to defend that position anymore because it is of absolutely no consequence whether or not you and I agree.
~”Im not sure Romney had any really original ideas.”~
He had conservative ideas. Of course they weren’t original, conservatives have been espousing them for decades.
Do you want a candidate with original ideas or with conservative ones?
“Do you want a candidate with original ideas or with conservative ones?”
Original applications of conservative ideals, fitted to
our times...and preferably, not just written by staff.
Have you ever read the Reagan book, “Reagan, in his own hand”
It is a book compiled of the radio spots he did for (3-4 years),
each one an original composition of original thought. Well
worth reading. As you read it, you see how he implemented
it in his Presidency. Great stuff.
I read that when Mondale was considering a run, he contacted
someone on Reagan’s former staff to ask how they had organized
these radio spots. When he heard Reagan had written and edited
them all, he dropped it.
The book also includes copies of many of the speeches that
you can see how he edited in his own hand.
You can also buy a recorded set of the speeches from the
Reagan library (which I have also - and they’re excellent).

$30 well spent.

“But based on filings with the Federal Election Commission, as of this summer, Romneys campaign has employed more than a hundred different consultants, making combined payments to them of at least $11 millionroughly three times the amount spent by John McCain or Rudy Giuliani.”
THAT is where the info about Romney came from, btw...
his own filings with the FEC. (same link I gave you before)
