I never quite figured out Romney. He needed more time to get his conservative “bona fides” if that was possible, but he didn’t have enough time to do it. And it would take a few years for that to happen, I think.
The elites determined it was John McCain's turn. And they get what they want generally. Romney did well to suspend and will be remembered by them for that. Possibly he will try again.
The interesting one is the Dems. Hillary is the one determined. However, the media is turning on the Clintons and Obama is massing huge support, money and stardom. Waiting to see who wins.
