On the radio today I heard McCain said he didn't have to choose a Veep for any special region, or something to that effect.
Not sure what that meant but I thought maybe that was a subtle hint to Huck - I don't need you for the South?
I hope you are right, but it could just as well be the buildup to "I'm not selecting Huckabee because he can deliver the South, no sir, not a bit of it, but because he is truly the best qualified candidate blah blah blah." After all, this is John McCain.
