Fred waited until this was a done deal. Cheney and Bush endorsed McCain sooner than he did.
Fred endorsement, therefore, did not give McCain any help toward winning the nomination, as it might have done if he had spoken before Super Tuesday.
I agree. McCain has the numbers. Fred is just trying to rally the troops...as they all will.

If Jesus Christ came down from Heaven to endorse McCain I might vote for him but even then it would be hard. Does anyone know where all the McCain voters are coming from? I have no idea. It almost feels like a set up. How does a candidate win when he is so widely disliked by so many?
I didn’t see that Bush actually endorsed McCain. He wished him luck but Bush is a gentleman and would do that.
