What are your alternatives? Stay home and let the liberal democrats win? McCain may choose a good running mate...one to temper his faults. I work in the get-out-the-vote push for our local party. It’s going to be difficult to get anyone excited enough to work if all this gloom and doom on the Right keeps up. I can’t throw away the Presidency for 8 years however. Would you rather have Hillary or Obama and all their minions running the country. If so, keep running McCain down. It may already be too late. The damage has been done.

It’s going to be difficult to get anyone excited enough to work if all this gloom and doom on the Right keeps up.

The thing that MOST gets people undecided, especially new voters and young voters, is new outside of Washington DC blood.

McCain has been around so long, he no longer excites anyone, not even tried and true Republicans like yourself and me.

Say what you want about Romney, or even Huckabee, but THEIR supporters are enthusiastic and ready to crawl over broken glass to support their man.

John McCain, for all his consistency, is worst than a sleeping pill.

Sure, he will get the good patriotic military vote -- but he will bore the hell out of tens of millions of voters the GOP desparately needs to counter the media-lib driven Democratic machine.

I am torn, quite frankly.

I can't in good conscious volunteer for McCain this fall.

I will vote certainly, but probably will only volunteer for my local candidates.
