I am very disheartened by what I’m reading on Freerepublic the last few days. The majority of Freepers here really seem to want to give this election to the Democrats. They’d rather Clinton or Obama win than a Republican. If we also lose more seats in Congress and the House, increasing the Democrats’ ability to further their agenda, so be it. If it takes decades to repair the damage that is done, oh well. If they can’t have a candidate conservative enough for their tastes then America be damned.

Don’t people here see how irresponsible they are being? How self destructive? They’re like a bunch of spoiled children, throwing a fit because they didn’t get their way. They think it is somehow going to teach the Republican party a lesson when they refuse to vote for the Republican presidential candidate. That’s not going to happen. What’s going to happen is that they will just become irrelevant and powerless.

Screw this. I’m done. I don’t hang around with losers.

.....irrelevant and powerless

As far as the GOP is concerned, that is exactly what they think of us.

I think McCain has a better shot at winning the presidency of Mexico.

If he fails in November, I hope he gives Mexico a try.

“F” McCain and the maverick he rode in on! He should fall on his sword before the convention, and well before he takes the party down into the sewer in November.
